Description

This 1/350 scale model assembly kit recreates the “the Lucky Destroyer” which fought at the Ten-Ichi-Go operation in April 1945. The Yukikaze was the eighth Kagero-class destroyer, completed in 1940, and earned a legendary reputation for surviving numerous major Pacific battles during WWII— including Midway, Guadalcanal, and Leyte Gulf. Known as “the Lucky Destroyer,” she emerged from the war largely unscathed, later serving post-war repatriation efforts and continuing her legacy with the Republic of China Navy into the 1960s.
