Easy to install and highly efficient, the AE Model Super-Solenoid is strong but also surprisingly gentle in action, so it won’t damage hand-made or fine scale turnouts like conventional solenoids do. It also has a gentle latching spring so it is equally comfortable with loose-blade turnouts or those that have tie-bar springs. Even handmade turnouts with one-piece point blades are held in position well & work as they should!

• Gentle spring controlled latching which makes the throw action more gentle on turnouts with spring-latched blades whilst ensuring that turnouts with continuous point blades remain thrown under blade pressure.
  
• Super-high efficiency 12 Ohm solenoid coils that need only 1/3 of the power required by most other solenoid brands, improving reliability and performance.
  
• Power input terminals for solenoid provide power via normal solenoid wiring, CDU or accessory decoder, with a plug & play lead included.
